Trip to Costa Vincentina

After some warm weather in Tavira (mid-to-high 90s), we decided to take a car trip to the Costa Vincentina, on the cooler west coast of Portugal. The main city there is Vila Nova de Milfontes, about a two-hour drive from Tavira.

Casa Pavao

We stayed at a cottage named Casa Pavao, which is part of the larger complex Selao da Eira in the city of Sao Teotonio. It had a shared pool which Ryder took full advantage of.

Vila Nova de Milfontes

A popular beach resort, Vila Nova de Milfontes, is the largest town in the area.

Cabo Sardao

The views from Cabo Sardao, south of Vila Nova de Milfontes, were spectacular.

And the food was fab, of course
