Report on the Under-Construction Apartment

Ground broke on the San Pedro apartments in May 2022.  So it has been just about a year of work thus far.  The builder continues to post videos to show their progress.  As you'll see in the video below, the shell of the structure is almost complete.  The building has three stories of residences, and those on the top floors have rooftop terraces.  

As you may recall, the builder of the San Pedro apartments was also the builder of the Siesta apartment which we currently occupy.  We happened to have a representative from the builder at our Siesta apartment today to look at a minor issue regarding our sliding glass doors.  We asked her about the San Pedro apartments, and she said that they are still "scheduled" to be completed in December 2023/January 2024.  Given that this is only about seven months away, we are skeptical.  But as we see continual work at the San Pedro site, we are hopeful and reasonably confident that we will occupy the San Pedro apartment sometime in 2024.  

To give you some perspective on our spot within the project, the picture below is a screen shot from the video at about the 0:13 mark.  Our ground floor apartment is outlined in red, and we've colored in where our private pool will be.
