Making Friends

Today, we met a relative of a friend of Mark's from back in California.  Like Mark, Barbara Angeja volunteers as an El Dorado County Long-Term Care Ombudsman.  When she heard we were moving to Portugal, she insisted that we meet the father of her daughter-in-law, Ed Eusebio, who lives in Sao Bras de Alportel, about a 30-minute drive from Tavira.  When not in the US teaching as a professor, Ed lives in the house he was born in, just outside of Sao Bras.  His family has deep and wide roots throughout the area.  It was fantastic to meet and spend time with Ed!
